AOC_L42H861 configuration

This monitor reported incorrect Horizontal timing information for its hdmi/dvi inputs. It needed an explicit horizontal timing specified in xorg.conf before the 1920x1080 @ 60hz mode could be used with X11 v7.1.1, geforce 6150 graphics card and the binary nvidia driver.

I upped the top of the horizontal freq range to match the 1920x1080 60 hz mode suggested in the TV's hdmi edid output from the Xorg.0.log file.

Remember the identifier in the Monitor section must match that in the Screen section. man xorg.conf for more info. After the change and a restart of X it works and looks good at native 1920x1080 60hz resolution.

Section "Monitor"
Identifier "AOC Envision L42H861 HDMI DFP"
        Option "DPMS"
Horizsync 15-70 # EDID says 15-46, but EDID mode line
                               # implies at least 68. Need this for 1080p.

The VGA connector on the L42H861 reports a different horizontal sync range than the product spec sheet. Using the value from the spec sheet does not work for the 1080p mode. I used the following Monitor section in xorg.conf, but it should also work using the default monitor setup.

Section "Monitor"
Identifier "AOC Envision L42H861 VGA CRT"
        Option "DPMS"
Horizsync 30-80 # Copied the EDID values. (Spec sheet says 31.5-60)
