Hardware status

CPU YesSee this HowTo
ACPI YesSleep, power, lid, battery, ac-adaper events captured by acpid
DVD-Recorder YesTested with libata, in order to be able to write, SCSI Generic Device support must be enabled in kernel
TouchPad YesSee dedicated Synaptics page
USB YesUSB 2.0 is EHCI, USB 1.1 is UHCI
Wired ethernet YesUses sky2 kernel driver
Wireless YesSee this guide
Bluetooth YesWorks with in-kernel drivers
Graphics YesSee this guide.
Sound YesUses alsa intel hd audio driver
Webcam YesWorks with uvcvideo, see this guide.
Internal SD/Memory Stick card reader YesBehaves as normal USB Mass Storage device
Special keys YesFn+VolumeUp, VolumeDown, Mute key, Touchpad switch, Camera switch. Fn+Brightness Up/Down buttons emit valid keycodes, can be assigned to X symbols with xmodmap and connected to some software mixer. RF Kill button works in hardware: iwlwifi driver is aware of it, bluetooth acts as if it was unplugged from USB, unknown efects in HSDPA modem. Camera switch act like plugging USB camera in and out.
ExpressCard slot UntestedShould work. See ExpressCard
External monitor YesHotpluggable with xrandr 1.2 or higher.
Suspend to ram YesWorks with standard in-kernel suspend-to ram, just issue echo mem > /sys/power/state, no quirks, module unloadings, hibernate-scripts needed. Wi-Fi, sound, everything tested to work after multiple suspend-to-ram cycles. :)
Suspend to disk YesJust issue echo disk > /sys/power/state and at boot time, append resume=/dev/sda<your swap partition> to kernel command line

Special keys

For Volume Keys to work, use modern hal that will auto-recognise all buttons or use Keytouch daemon. Even power and sleep switch return keycodes, so it is possible to use them as multimedia keys. These keys DO NOT emit keycodes:

To make brightness keys work I had to load video module with brightness_switch_enabled=0 option.

Be sure to use Alsa driver snd_hda_intel version 1.0.15 or newer. For correct hardware recognition add

options snd-hda-intel model=fujitsu

to /etc/modprobe.d/alsa and run update-modules. For testing purposes, you can try modprobe snd-hda-intel model=fujitsu (on some models model=fujitsu causes the same output to go on both headphones and build-in speakers, use model=basic instead then)
