QJoyPad takes input from a gamepad or joystick and translates it into key strokes or mouse actions, letting you control any XWindows program with your game controller.


Install Instructions

$ emerge -v qjoypad

Changing Profiles

Assuming you have previously created a layout called "MythTV" the command below will switch QJoyPad to this profile. (Starting QJoyPad if its not already running)

$ qjoypad "MythTV"

Layout Files

Layout files are located in ~/.qjoypad3/ with the .lyt file extension.

Example File:

# QJoyPad 3.4 Layout File

Joystick 1 {
        Axis 1: mouse+h
        Axis 2: mouse+v
